Ever looking for something authentic, spicy and flavorful??
Then look no further!!..
Koon Thai Kitchen, San Diego Ca
San Diego is home to some of my favorite restaurants and eateries, but this one tops the charts for Best Authentic Thai Food!!
Simply decorated interior and nice enticing exterior, Koon’s offers an array of choices from curries to fried rice, sushi and salads!!
Of course, I love the curries so I had to try their PaDang Curry. A delicious blend of coconut milk, peanut oil, tofu and mix veggies topped with their deliciously spicy Authentic Thailand hot peppers!!
When ordering your grub, make sure to specify how spicy you want your food. Since the hot peppers are from Thailand they are hotter then your usual. But for someone who delights in the spicy side of life, I went for the Medium choice and it was by far the best option! Just enough spice that I wasn’t completely dying of thirst or missing out on all the delectable flavors of the Padang.
So the next time you head down to San Diego California make sure to stop by and check out this tasty fine dining delight!! 🙂

Good Afternoon everyone!
Today I’m going to share with you my review of Maria’s Italian Kitchen. So without further ado , let’s get to it !!!
How I came upon this restaurant was during my ladie’s night out on Monday. I attended along with one of my sisters and a friend of hers who suggested we try this place out. They both had been there before and had great reviews on it, so we just decided to try it out for my sake.
We chose the location in Oxnard, California located in the Collection.
What We Ate..
The service on a Monday was great, Staff was friendly and accommodating and the atmosphere was vibrant and relaxing. First thing I noticed when we walked in was the sweet aroma of you guessed it, marinara sauce and garlic bread!
For starters they give the table a complementary garlic and herb bread sticks with Balsamic Vinegar and oil. DELICIOUS! The bread was warm as if it came right out of the oven.
On top of the complementary bread sticks, we all shared an appetizer of Garlic Knots . Again, FRESH OUT THE OVEN the aroma was so sweet with a Garlic hint. The flavors were vary balanced.
The entree I tried out was one of their many pasta dishes, the Linguine Michelangelo. The delicious yet simple textures of the fresh mushrooms and spinach drizzled with olive oil and sliced garlic makes for a nice light dinner.
My sisters friend tried the Shrimp Scampi. Fettuccine noodles with garlic shrimp tossed in a slightly heavy (slightly) spicy sauce and topped off with fresh parsley. The portion size was just enough to get the full effect of flavors!!
Another Must Try!
The overall experience was tasty and recommended to all those pasta lovers out there! 🙂
