As a fellow pescatarian I enjoy trying out any kind of fish based recipes that I can find or that I make at work. This recipe is pretty simple and is lightly seasoned as to not take away from the delicious flavors that the salmon already has.
Just as a side note, salmon just so happens to be one of my favorite kinds of fish so I am really excited to share this recipe with all of you!
To all my fellow Pescatarians out there, this one is for you! 🙂
You will need the following:
- 2 Tbsp Garlic Powder
- 1 Tsp Salt
- 1 White Onion , Sliced
- 2 Lemons, Sliced
- 1 Tbsp Parsley Flakes
- 6 to 8 oz Salmon (Wild Caught), As roughly 2-4 pieces
- 1/2 cup, Olive Oil
Let’s Get Started!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine all your dry ingredients into a medium sized mixing bowl. Add a half cup of olive oil to the bowl and mix together with the dry ingredients. Place the salmon into the medium bowl and gently exfoliate the fish with the mixed ingredients.
Coat your sheet pan with a little olive oil then place your salmon pieces onto the sheet pan, sprinkle over the fish with onion & lemon slices and pop it in the oven for 15-20 minutes.
*Note: Do Not Over Cook Salmon! It ill give it a tough texture, simply apply less time in the oven and constantly check for good color and consistency . Your fish should be pink and white as cooked indicators and a little flaky.
Remove from oven and let your salmon cool for three minutes. Plate your fish and enjoy!
*Tip: To make your dish pop, place a small bed of ice burg lettuce leafs (1-2 pcs) on the bottom of your dish then place your salmon on top with along with the onions and lemon slices you bakes. Get a little bit of the juice left on the sheet pan and pour it on top of the fish!
