To all my fellow foodies out there, sometimes we want to make something so delicious but within the time crunch. I have just the solution! Try out my easy Blueberry Crumble!!
The recipe is so simple , yet so delicious! The best part about this dessert is the portion control. So without further a do, lets jump into the recipe !
Cook time : 15 minutes
Prep time: 5 minutes
Step 1: Gather your ingredients! Grab that blueberry pie filling off the shelf, those chocolate chips in a bag that you’ve been snacking on in the cupboard all week, all purpose four, granulated sugar, brown sugar, 2 sticks of butter and uncooked oatmeal.
Step 2: Make the Crumble! Mix together roughly a cup each of the all purpose flour, uncooked oatmeal,brown sugar and granulated sugar. Throw the two sticks of butter in the oven for about 3 minutes until it softens enough to spread with. ( but not liquefied!)
Step 3: Mix your ingredients and bake! After your butter softens just a enough to spread, apply it to the dry ingredients slowly and start mixing in the butter with a rubber spatula. Once the ingredients have been properly coated your crumble should look “crumbled” and not too saturated. Grab a sheet pan and spread the crumble evenly. Pop it in he oven for about 7 minutes ,then rotate the back of the sheet pan to the front of the oven for another 7 minutes to produce even cooking.
** While that cooks, pan up your chocolate chips and mix in the blueberry pie filling and toss it in the oven for about 5 minutes. Make sure to mix with a rubber spatula to ensure the chocolate chips have melted through. **
Step 4: Grab your baked ingredients and start platting! Once you’ve thoroughly check that your crumble dried to the right crispiness and your chocolate chips melted into the blueberry filling, grab your dessert glasses or saucers and fill half way with the blueberry chocolate mix and then sprinkle a good coat of the crumble on top and ENJOY!! 🙂
